When Jonathon told me that he wanted to use his guitar in his senior portraits I was excited. I wanted to do something different with it so I started thinking, “Why not go on a rooftop?” So that’s exactly what we did. I also told Jonathon to bring his amp. I was thinking it was a smaller one that would be fairly easy to carry up and down a ladder. Ummm…suuure. That baby weighed about 100 lbs. Well, luckily for Jonathon, not only am I a photographer but I’m also a world champion weight lifter.

Okay. Maybe not. But here are some of our shots anyway.

Here’s some more from our senior shoot a couple of weeks ago. We had so much fun and as you could probably tell from the previous post, it rained while we were shooting the drum scene in the field. It was definitely a muddy mess but a blast and totally worth it! Enjoy!

Here’s just one from our incredible shoot yesterday! More to come later!

Meet Aron and Brittney. These two lovebirds are so much fun and we had a blast during the shoot. Aron is my cousin and our whole family simply loves Britt! They much such a great couple and we are thrilled to have her as a part of the family! Congrats guys!!!

I can’t say much except that I love this family. I mean, I really LOVE this family. Really, REALLY. I could go on and on about my love for this family but I don’t want to scare you away. *please don’t go away* So, before they get a restraining order let’s get onto the pictures! After all, that’s why you’re here…

Thank you Meg Ryan

for gloriously delivering the following lines:

“Dear Friend, I like to start my notes to you as if we’re already in the middle of a conversation. I pretend that we’re the oldest and dearest friends…”

And so with that…welcome to the NEW and IMPROVED and actually USED Red House Photography Blog. Sit back, stay awhile and come often.
